Mistral releases Le Chat Enterprise with on-premise deployment
Mistral's enterprise chat product can now run entirely on your own servers — no data leaves your infrastructure.
What happened
Mistral AI launched Le Chat Enterprise, a self-hosted version of their chat product built on Mistral Large 2. It supports on-premise deployment via Docker or Kubernetes, has no data-sharing with Mistral, includes SSO/SAML, audit logs, and role-based access control. Pricing is per-seat starting at $25/user/month for self-hosted. Cloud-managed version starts at $15/user/month.
Why it matters to you
personalizedWhy it matters to you
A Docker-deployable enterprise chat product with a proper API means you can now offer clients a ChatGPT-equivalent with zero data egress as a feature. The on-premise model also gives you a reference architecture for how to package your own AI products for enterprise buyers who won't send data to third-party APIs.
What to do about it
If you're building for regulated industries (healthcare, finance, legal), spin up the Docker version in your staging environment this week. Test it as a drop-in replacement for your current LLM calls. If it works for your use case, you just unlocked a whole new customer segment.
