Google released Lyria 3 Pro, enabling 3-minute AI music tracks with structural control, available via Gemini, Vertex AI, and Gemini API.
Google launched Lyria 3 Pro, one month after Lyria 3, extending track length from 30 seconds to 3 minutes. The model supports prompt-level control over song structure (intros, verses, choruses, bridges) and is rolling out across Gemini (paid subscribers only), Google Vids, ProducerAI, Vertex AI (public preview), Gemini API, and AI Studio. All outputs are watermarked with SynthID. Google acquired ProducerAI last month and has now integrated Lyria 3 Pro directly into it.
Lyria 3 Pro is now accessible through the Gemini API and AI Studio, meaning developers can programmatically generate full-length, structurally coherent music tracks without licensing deals or audio pipeline complexity. The Vertex AI public preview means enterprise-grade infrastructure is already there. SynthID watermarking is baked in, so provenance compliance is handled at the model layer, not your codebase.
Hit the Gemini API this week with a structured music prompt targeting a specific use case — background audio for a video product, onboarding flow music, or in-app ambiance — and benchmark output quality against your current licensing cost per track.
